For all fans of classic disco and house sounds, Daniel Wang needs almost no introduction.  His DJ journey began over 30 yrs ago in Chicago and New York, where he met Loleatta Holloway and Danny Krivit and David Mancuso, interviewed  François Kevorkian and Tee Scott, and released a few records on Environ and Balihu which just got re-issued by Rush Hour in 2026!

      He has now lived in Berlin for 23 years and is credited with writing the article that made “Berghain” known to the world. Besides all that, he never stopped traveling and gigging, from from Helsinki to Barcelona, from Brazil to Japan.  He doesn’t play techno music made on laptops. He plays authentic disco, jazz funk and grooves which are irresistible, full of proper instruments and swing and syncopation.
